This group of ingress pictures were taken at approximately 2½ minute intervals. Between 1st and 2nd contact my view was obscured by a lamp-post, so the sequence begins about 10 mins after 1st contact. The first frame is dimmer because the lamp-post was still slightly in the way.

This group of egress pictures were also taken at approximately 2½ minute intervals. Using these, and others taken between them, I have constructed a rather large (2.16 MByte) animated GIF. Note the complete absence of any “black drop” effect.
